Christian Women's Retreat

THAT THE FATHER BE GLORIFIED John 14:13
Wisdom From Saint John’s Gospel
November 14, 2026
A one day Catholic Christian retreat open to all Christian Women.
“(Father), I glorified You on earth, having accomplished the work which You gave Me to do; and now, Father, glorify Me in Your own presence with the glory which I had with You before the world was made.” -- John 17:4-5
“I appeal to you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is your spiritual worship.” -- Romans 12:1
This retreat day will invite the women to be immersed into Jesus’ relationship to the Father, as He surrenders Himself in complete obedience to the Father’s will, and thereby gives glory to the One who sent Him. Through prayer, witness, teaching, Lectio Divina, and sharing, the participants will be given the opportunity to renew their place in JESUS before the Father, and
THE TOPICS INCLUDE ...
- Jesus’ relationship to His Father
- The Gospel of Saint John’s window into the obedience of Jesus
- Teaching and sharing on surrender and submission to the Will of God
- Sharing on the life of Christian women who seek to live in Jesus before the Father
- Jesus as the only One who reveals the Father
The Retreat will be different than years past, as it will be a one day retreat, with lunch and dinner being provided. A team of lay women will assist the Spiritual Director on the retreat. They will lead table sharing, give echoes to the talks, and provide Music Ministry. Mothers & Daughters are encouraged to attend together. (Juniors in High School & up).
As this is a one day retreat, there will be no Holy Mass offered, nor confessions. Nevertheless, we ask that all participants prepare for the retreat by receiving the great Sacrament of Penance (Confession) before the retreat day, so that the grace of the retreat may be received by a ready and open heart. A good examination of conscience may be found at https://byzantinevillages.org/examination-of-conscience, and a great resource for finding when and where the Sacrament of Penance is offered in local churches is https://masstimes.org/. On this website, one can enter a zip code, and search for when Mass, Confession, or Adoration is offered in nearby Catholic Churches on any given day. This is an accurate and wonderful resource.
The cost of the Weekend is $75 (payment is requested with registration).
Please be at the Center by 8:30 a.m. Saturday, November 14th. The retreat day will end at 6 p.m.
