Father Martin reminded the Community of the importance of prayer and in particular, praying with God’s Word. He invited us all to share in the great benefits of praying the Word of God. He suggested that as we read and ponder God’s Word, we keep a list of the ‘one-liners’ from Scripture that touch us, inspire us, encourage us, and/or challenge us. He suggested we begin with the Letter of Saint Paul to the Romans Chapter 12 which has some great ‘one-liners.’ He invited us as a Community to share these “one liners” below.

…But God does not withdraw His mercy, nor permit even one of His promises to fail. Sirach 47: 22
